Children in Need Fundraising is Spot On

Dressing up in all things spotty, creating Pudsey story boards and enjoying delicious bakes in an after school cake sale, were just some of the fun activities that pupils, staff and parents participated in at Middleton School to raise an impressive £526.29 for the charity Children in Need.

Headteacher Rachel Roberts was really impressed with the efforts everyone had made for such a worthy cause, she said:

“Pupils were excited to take part in raising funds to help change other young people’s lives. They came into school wearing their brightest, spottiest clothes and accessories and donated £1 each. Throughout the day, pupils learnt about how Pudsey helps disadvantaged children across the UK and at the end of school there was a treat for all with a successful cake sale organised by the Friends of Middleton.”
