Children Starting School for the First Time - September 2025

The Local Authority co-ordinates the application process for children starting school for the first time. (Applications will not be accepted at the school). Further information can be found on Milton Keynes Council website:

The deadline for applications is the 15th January 2025

National Offer Day is 16th April 2025

This is for Children born between 1^st September 2020 and 31^st August 2021.

Applying for places in September 2024

If you wish to apply for a place for September 2024 onwards, then the application window is open from the 1^st June 2024,

Primary In-Year Admissions Form 2024-25

Please note that initially you will receive a turn down letter as the current year groups are full. Once you have received the turn down you can place your child(ren) on the waiting lists for September 2024.  This builds the waiting list. 

The waiting lists are ranked via the oversubscription criteria. Length of time on the waiting list is not a factor in offering a place. 

In September, once the school returns from the summer holidays, if there are any confirmed vacancies then spaces are offered to those students at the top of the waiting list.

Being on the waiting list does not guarantee a place at the school.

To complete the editable PDF on a phone/tablet/computer, you will need to complete the form and then using ‘save as’ save it on to the device you are using. The completed form should be emailed with the other supporting documentation to:  admissions@ket.education

The 2026 admission arrangements were determined by the Local Governing Body on 7^th October 2024.

Admission arrangements September 2025

Middleton Primary School consulted on the proposed 2025 admission arrangements between 11^th October and 29^th November 2023.  There were no proposed updates and no comments were received.  The Local Governing Body determined the 2025 admission arrangements, as set out in the consultation, on 11^th December 2023.

Middleton Primary School 2024 Admission Arrangements

The 2024 admission arrangements were determined by the Local Governing Body on 3^rd October 2022.
