Three New Awards for Middleton
2 July 2026
An impressive three awards were won by Middleton Primary at the Milton Keynes Sports Awards – MK Football Association – School of the Year, MK Football Association – Equal Access Award and the Active Lunchtime Award.
MK Football Association – School of the Year – Middleton’s football teams enjoyed an outstanding year, winning multiple leagues as well as local, county, and regional competitions.
Mr Buck, Mr Douse and lots of other staff have had the privilege of coaching and supporting these teams throughout the season. The Year 5/6 girls’ team is the most successful football team Middleton has ever had in terms of achievements.
MK Football Association – Equal Access Award – Middleton was nominated for this award in recognition of the opportunities the school has provided for hundreds of children of all abilities to take part in football throughout the year. Middleton firmly believes football is a fantastic way to promote inclusion, teamwork and participation, and it’s been wonderful to see so many children involved in performance leagues, development evenings and SEND/ability events.
Active Lunchtime Award – Middleton was nominated for this award due to its incredible team of staff, who provide so many fantastic opportunities for its children during lunchtime. From Puzzle Club and sports activities to classroom games, dancing and much more, there is always something for everyone.
Sports Coach, Mr Buck, also received a Special Recognition Award.
These awards reflect the hard work, dedication, and commitment of Middleton’s staff and the enthusiasm and talent of its pupils.
