Fiver Challenge
Year 6 have been taking part in the Fiver Challenge. Each child has been given £5 to set up a small business.
Each week there is a challenge to complete to help them develop their businesses.
This week the children had to create a logo and business plan. They then had to put together a sales pitch where they explained what their business is and how much profit they expect to make.

A brilliant start to the day at the lifeboat station where the children learnt a lot about coastal safety. Later a trip to the wonderful Robin Hill Country Park where the sun shone and we managed many rides on the Collosus Pirate Ship and trips to the 4D Cinema.

An interesting morning spent fossil hunting. Many children are now in possession of Fools Gold and crystals that they found themselves on the beach. We also visited a Roman Villa where we saw many remains of roman buildings and artefacts.
