February Half-term Homework

We are all in agreement that the children (and parents) need a well-earned rest over the half term break, however we wanted to send home some tasks to keep you busy if you wish.

Your child may want to:

  • Speak to a family member or friend they haven't communicated with since lockdown began
  • Write a letter to a friend from school (post into your Purple Mash folder and your child's teacher can move it to the recipient)
  • Create a photo journal for half term
  •  Learn a new skill and share a photo/video of them practising it
  • Get outside as much as possible
  • Complete some of the 100 challenge activities sent home earlier this week - We like the idea of creating a piece of artwork that incorporates the number 100. Your art could take any form e.g. paint, collage, lego, big art.
  • Make a model of a Viking, Tudor or Early Islamic Civilisation building which we have been looking at as part of our settlements work in History. You could upload a photo of it annotated to Purple Mash for us to have a look at.

Thank you for your support and we hope you have a lovely and restful half term break.
