WALT explore the theme of World Environment Day

'Time for Nature'

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on the 5th June. It is a day when people all over the world can learn, do and share activities and ways to help the Earth be a better place. This year the topic is called 'Time for Nature'. We can think about all of the living things, including humans and plants, that exist on Earth. All life is connected to each other and if one part of the Earth gets destroyed then it effects us all.

Work through the powerpoint to read more about World Environment Day and Time for Nature.

If everybody did one small, helpful thing everyday it would make a huge difference to the environment and the Earth that we live on.

What 5 things could you and your family change or improve to help make a difference?
