WALT rewrite our own rap to “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air”.
Last lesson, you will have become quite familiar and perhaps even learnt the rap to “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air”. Today, we are going to be rewriting the lyrics to the rap. When writing a rap, think of it like a poem. It would be great if it rhymes, but most importantly needs to stick to the rhythm of the song. The Karaoke version is up on the school website, so make sure your syllables fit in with the rhythm of the song. You don’t have to rewrite the whole song, you can do bits of it or all of it.
Open the lesson overview document to see what the challenges are for today.
