WALT use exclamation marks

Tomorrow, you will be writing a review as if you were in the audience of the bear's performance in the theatre. When you write a review, you include your opinion about whether you enjoyed something or didn't. To express this, we use exclamation marks. During the live lesson, Mr Beaumont discussed how we use exclamation marks and showed some examples.

If you would like to have a go at practising spotting exclamations before you start your task, you can have a go at the sheet below. This is optional.

Your task today is to match some exclamations to the pictures. These may help you with some ideas tomorrow for your review. If you choose the 2 or 3 star challenge, you will need to come up with your own exclamation sentences based on what is in the picture.
