WALT solve division word problems
Today, you are going to be solving some word problems. You will be using the strategies of grouping and sharing to help you solve them. You can use objects or draw pictures to support your working out.

WALT make equal groups by sharing
Yesterday, you began learning about a new operation called division. We can do this by grouping or sharing. Today, we will be looking at how we divide by sharing. Think about a time you have shared something. When is it fair?

If you feel like you need more practise, you can get two plates and share objects between you and a member of your family.
Have a go at:
Sharing 10 equally between 2 people.
Sharing 14 equally between 2 people.
Sharing 20 equally between 5 people.
Make sure you count how many you get each!
