W.A.L.T Rewrite a familiar story.
In English today, your task is to rewrite the story of 'We’re Going on a Bear Hunt' but this time we are going on an egg hunt! Remember that this egg hunt will be in your house or garden.

W.A.L.T Make changes to a story.
Today you are going to become the author and write your own version of Little Rabbit Foo Foo!
You will be re-writing this section of the story: “Little Rabbit Foo Foo riding through the forest. Scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head.”
Where could Little Rabbit Foo Foo be riding? What could they scoop up and do? Remember to use lots of adjectives to describe what can be seen, heard and maybe event smelt.
Use the templates below or create your own to make the changes. There is a space for your to also become the illustrator (person who draws the pictures in a story) to draw the changes that you have made.

W.A.L.T Describe how the characters from a story might be feeling.
Today we’re thinking about how the characters in the story might be feeling. Have a think about how Little Rabbit Foo Foo, the Good Fairy and the Wriggly Worms might feel during the story.
Activity - Listen to, watch or read the story again and this time pause to think about how the characters are feeling. If you were these characters, how would you be feeling?
You can use the emojis on the second page of the activity template sheets to help you think of different feelings and emotions.

W.A.L.T Design a character.
Story: Little Rabbit Foo Foo (Link to story below 06.04.20)
The Good Fairy turned Little Rabbit Foo Foo into a Goonie! Today you need to use your imagination to draw a picture of what you think a Goonie would look like, what features would a Goonie have? Remember to use lots of adjectives (describing words) to describe how your Goonie looks. Eg: long nose, green hair, wrinkly skin.
Challenge: Can you use two adjectives to describe some of the features of your Goonie? Eg: long green hair, big pointy nose.

W.A.L.T Sequence a story.
Using the link below, listen to and enjoy the story of Little Rabbit Foo Foo. Share your thoughts on the story with someone in your home. What did you like about the story? What didn't you like about the story? What happened in the story?
Your task is to retell the story in the correct order. You can choose whether or not you would like to draw the pictures in the boxes or use the pictures to cut and stick into the boxes.
Maybe you could perform the story afterwards or read your storyboard out loud?
