WALT identify the features of a diary

In order to be able to write a diary, we need to be able to identify what features are in a diary. How is it written and what do they talk about.

The PowerPoint from today's lesson is below - you can use this to help you in your task today or if you have missed the live lesson.

For today, we would like you to have a look at the WAGOLL diary below. Can you identify the features of the diary? You do not need to print this document, see if you can read through it and jot down when you can see the different features - we are particularly looking for time connectives and the feelings of the writer.

Below is a document that shows you some of the time connectives that you can use in your diary - this may help you later on in the week when it comes to planning and writing your diary.
