Homework is to find alternative words for 'said' - this has been our focus this week. It has been set as a 2do on Purple Mash. Children are to make a list of words that could be used instead of said and write their meaning. For example 'shouted' could mean that someone is excited or even angry.
Extension - write up a conversation that people could have with each other, trying to use a different word for said each time someone says something.
Please also continue to practise your child's spellings on Spellzone and read as much as possible.
Homework for this week is to create your own clock to help you tell the time.
Here is an example that was made by someone in Year 2 last year:
Extension - a 2Do has been set to recap telling the time with o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to.
