Set: 13.11.20 Due 19.11.20

Reading is extremely important. Please try to read with your child daily and write the details into their reading record. While reading, please ask your child questions to check their understanding of what they have read.

Please use the free eBooks that are on the Oxford Owl website. You will need to register to access the books. You can find books that are age and reading level appropriate.

WALT subtract 1 digit from 2 digits

This week, we have continued to practise the column method. We have looked at subtracting a 1 digit number from a 2-digit number. You can choose to do as many or as little calculations as you want to. You can use a scrap piece of paper that you have at home. If you want to take a picture and upload it to Purple Mash then you can.

WALT write a letter

Over the last two weeks, we have been learning the features of an informal letter which has culminated in sending a letter to another child in the school. For your homework you can practise writing a letter pretending you are Goldilocks. You need to apologise to Baby Bear for eating the porridge, for breaking the chair and for sleeping in the bed.

There is a 2Do set on Purple Mash which you can use.
