Year 6 had so much fun at the Isle of Wight; they behaved brilliantly and were complimented by members of the public, the hotel and the coach driver. On Monday we looked around the HM victory before sailing over to the island. That evening we enjoyed a lovely evening walk down Shanklin chine and play on the beach. The following day saw us go to Osborne house where we were amazed at the décor and then a boat trip at Alum Bay to see The Needles. That evening we really enjoyed going to the theatre and dance and sing a long. Wednesday was all about enjoying Robin Hill country park and going bowling. On our last full day we went fossil hunting (someone found an actual dinosaur bone!) and then went to Blackgang Chine. On the final evening we had a disco and enjoyed dancing. We had a busy but exciting week and the children were a credit to the school.
