WALT: Be mindful of what is important to us
It is important to be mindful of what is important to us and what makes us happy. Today, we would like you to think about what makes you ‘bloom’ like the flower and what makes you ‘wilt’.
Divide your sheet into two. On one side, draw a flower in full bloom and write words and sentences that make you happy. On the other side, draw a wilting flower and explore what makes you sad. You could include your experiences during lockdown.
You can use the template or create your own.
Write three things that make you happy and write three things that make you sad.
Write as many things as you can think of that make you feel happy and that make you feel sad. Include your experiences from lockdown.
Make your own little grass creatures. If you say kind, wonderful things to your grass creature each day, their hair will grow. The nicer you are to the grass creatures, the more they will bloom and grow.
