WALT – answer comprehension questions about a story
Before you read 'The Tale of Benjamin Bunny'….
Do you remember what happened in ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’?
Peter lost his clothes. Do you think it’s a good idea for him to go back to find them?
Do you know what a scarecrow is? Mr McGregor put his clothes on the scarecrow.
Find out in this story what happened when Peter’s cousin, Benjamin, encouraged him to go back to the garden to get his clothes back. Was that a good idea?
Read this ppt version of ‘The Tale of Benjamin Bunny’ by Beatrix Potter. There are questions at the end. On the very last slide you will find the answers.
You do not have to write the answers out, you can do it orally.
As you read the story, think about what clues the 2 bunnies are leaving that show they were there. Also, think about how differently each bunny feels in the garden.
