WALT use alliteration
This week, we have been reading 'The Queen's Handbag'. In the story, a sneaky swan swoops the Queen's handbag and steals it!
We have been discussing using alliteration and will be using this skill in our stories next week.
For your homework, we would like you to come up with some alliterative phrases to describe different animals of your choice. You can draw a picture too if you like!
Write them down on a piece of paper and take a picture to upload on Purple Mash.
To challenge yourself, try and explain how the animal moves e.g. A sneaky swan swooping swiftly.
WALT identify tens and ones
This week in maths, we have been recapping our place value to 50. Choose the task you feel most confident with to demonstrate tens and ones.
