WALT write a non-chronological report

Today, you will be writing up your report! There are 1, 2 and 3 star templates available for you but if you would like to be creative and design your report in a different way, feel free! You can use coloured paper, cut out pictures from magazines/comics, colour in your background... be as creative as you like.

It is important to remember the checklist to be successful for this text type.

Below is the example we have shared all week to show the structure. If you find a good sentence starter or adjective you like that works for your report, magpie it!

These are skills we have been using all week so you should be experts at this now! We cannot wait to see your finished non-chronological reports.

The template is the same, however each star will require different information.

One star - write at least one fact per subheading.

Two stars - write at least two facts per subheading. Make sure to include conjunctions and exciting adjectives.

Three stars - write at least two facts per subheading. Make sure to include conjunctions, exciting adjectives and a question e.g. Did you know giraffes are the tallest land animal?

Bonus points if you can use alliteration in your title! e.g. Amazing Antelopes, Fantastic Foxes etc.
