We were very lucky to have an Ancient Greek Day on Monday 11th February. We all dressed up in our best Ancient Greek attire ready for a memorable day. We began the day by exploring an Ancient Greek market place. Here, we got to take part in lots of exciting activities including: making mosaics, pottery, soap carving, creating an olive oil lamp, tile painting and exploring different medicines. While exploring the marketplace, we encountered lots of different pieces of gossip which resulted in our teacher, Miss Rees, being found to be a traitor and being exiled from Greece. In the afternoon, we took part in the festival of Dionysus where we tried a selection of Greek foods, performed dancing and Greek plays and some of us were even slaves! What an exciting day we had!
